Ile-de-France is the region that surrounds Paris France.  Once called the Paris Regional District, the region encompasses nearby communities including Fontainebleau, Versailles and Paris itself.

Versailles is home to the magnificent Palace of Versailles.  It is famous for its formal gardens and enchanting fountains.
