Assisi Italy

Have you ever heard of St. Francis of Assisi?  He was a Jesuit priest from a small town in Umbria called Assisi.

St. Francis was named the Patron Saint of Italy.  The current pope (Pope Francis) took his papal title from St. Francis of Assisi.

Assisi is a gorgeous town situated on a mountainside beneath a beautiful castle.  It's a wonderful place to enjoy the natural environment and spend a few relaxing days.
