Grenoble France is a marvelous place to visit at anytime of the year.  Once host to the winter Olympics, Grenoble continues to attract skiers and snow boarders from around the globe.

If you visit Grenoble in summer, make sure to ride the cable car into the mountains.  You can then enjoy a vigorous hike back to town.
