The Island of Mallorca is the largest of Spain's Balearic Island.  Located in the Mediterranean Sea, near Barcelona, Mallorca (aka Majorca) is a very popular tourist destination for Europeans.

The capital city of Mallorca is Palma.  It is the capital city of the autonomous region of the Balearic Island.  Other island in the Balearic archipelago are Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
